ICC World Cup 2023’s Fascinating New Branding

The term “Navarasa,” which describes the nine emotions game spectators go through, was used to build the brand.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) unveiled the much-awaited 2023 World Cup branding on Sunday.

In an official release, the ICC talked about the event’s branding. It will be held in India at the end of this year.

The branding honours both cricket and the 12th anniversary of India’s triumph in the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2011 on their home field.

The brand was created using the term “Navarasa,”. Which refers to the nine emotions fans feel while watching a game and is used in Indian theatre.

Rohit Sharma, the captain of India, can’t wait for the big match at home.
The excitement for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 is “really starting to rise”. With only six months remaining, according to Sharma.

Every player dreams of playing in a World Cup on home soil. And being captain makes that dream much more real. I can’t wait for it to begin. The Men’s Cricket World Cup is an important occasion for all enthusiasts. And we will do everything we can over the coming months to get ready in the best way possible to offer us the best chance to win the trophy, he continued.

Jay Shah, Secretary of the (BCCI), is similarly optimistic that India will host an “amazing” event.

Shah says that the BCCI wants to host the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup in 2023 and make it a special event for cricket fans in India and worldwide. The one-day game’s championship match, played in October, will include top-tier cricket, and India will host an amazing spectacle.

The eighth team from the Cricket World Cup Super League will compete for one of the final two seats, while the Cricket World Cup Qualification will determine the other two spots in June and July.

After winning the 2019 tournament at home, England is the reigning champion.
